Pair via pairing code
- On your Android device, open the Wireless debugging setting and tap the Pair device with pairing code option.

- Click the “Pair” button.
Manual Pairing
If for any reason, you can’t connect the devices neither via QR code nor via pairing code, you can try manual pairing. For this:
In MacDroid, click the “Manual pairing” button.
On your Android device, go to Developers options -> Wireless debugging -> Pair device with pairing code.
Enter the information, shown on your Android device into the corresponding fields, namely IP address, port, and 6-digit code
- Click the “Pair” button.
For Android versions up to 10
On your Android device, go to the Wi-Fi settings (Settings -> Connections -> Wi-Fi) and select the Wi-Fi network you're connected to.
In the Network details, find IP address, which is your Wi-Fi IP address on your device.
Insert the IP address information shown on your Android device into the corresponding fields in MacDroid.
Click the “Connect” button.
Alternatively, connect your device once via a USB cable, and MacDroid will try to make a wireless connection automatically.
Note: Make sure your Android device and your Mac are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and the USB debugging mode is enabled on your Android device. |
