On iOS 6 and earlier:

  1. While playing content from an AirPlay-enabled app, tap the AirPlay icon in the navigation bar to see the list of available AirPlay receivers on your network.
  2. Tap the name of your computer running Elmedia Player to start streaming.

On iOS 7, 8, and 9:

  1. While playing the content from an AirPlay-enabled app, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open Control Center.
  2. Tap the AirPlay icon to see the list of available AirPlay receivers on your network.
  3. Tap the name of your computer running Elmedia Player to start streaming.
Note: Some live-streaming apps, such as Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and most sport or television apps, either use their custom protocol or prevent connections that don’t originate from an iOS device. Some of the service providers behind these apps also prevent an Apple TV to consume content over AirPlay. We are considering the possibility of adding support for this in future versions of Elmedia Player.
