As soon as you start new session and select desired visualizers, you are ready to start monitoring.
Note, that monitoring does not start automatically, unless you selected the corresponding option when you created the session.
To enable monitoring, follow these simple steps:
1. Start new monitoring session.
2. Choose “Monitoring -> Start” from the main menu, or click “Start monitoring” on the main toolbar, or press F5:
Monitoring will be started immediately.
3. Now you will see that “Start monitoring” button is deactivated and two other icons (“Pause monitoring”, “Stop monitoring”) became enabled. It means that monitoring started successfully and is now in progress.
4. Now you can open the port with your software.
Note: You can start port monitoring whenever you like, even if the port is occupied by another application (Professional Edition only).
