Your system may be missing the standard USBD.SYS driver. To fix it:
- Insert your Windows installation CD.
- Locate the USBD.SY_ file inside the i386 directory.
- Copy this file to C:\Windows\system32\drivers on your system, and rename it to USBD.SYS.
