FlexiHub for Windows Known Issues
Note: In our experience, some Unlock Boxes manufacturers embed a redirection protection into their devices’ drivers, which prevents the functioning of such tools in conjunction with FlexiHub. We strongly recommend testing our product before buying, if you plan to use it for remote servicing/unlocking of phones.
Several devices are shown in the GUI as one
When you plug multiple (usually identical) USB devices into your local computer, but only one of them gets listed in FlexiHub, it usually helps to enable identification of devices by location (i.e. the USB ports that they are attached to). Here is how you can do this:
- Open regedit (press Win+R on the keyboard, type regedit, click OK).
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Team\flexihub.
- Double-click the id_usb_suffix value and set it to 1. (If this value doesn’t exist, create it; it should be of type DWORD.)
- Restart Electronic Team FlexiHub service through services.msc or reboot the computer.

Logging into the FlexiHub account on one computer causes logout on another computer
You may occasionally run into this issue when using FlexiHub on computers of the same brand and model.
To distinguish between the systems logged in to your account, FlexiHub normally looks at their hardware ID set in the BIOS, which is assumed to be unique. Some vendors, however, do not adhere to the specifications, and lots of their computers end up having the same ID, which is a recipe for naming conflicts in software that relies on its uniqueness.
The way this can be handled is by telling FlexiHub to instead use the hardware ID based on the parameters of the system’s hardware components, which is guaranteed to be unique. To enable this, on each problematic system do the following:
- Log out of your FlexiHub account (Account → Log out).
- Open regedit (press Win+R on the keyboard, type regedit, click OK).
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Team\Flexihub\.
- Double-click the use_uuid value and set it to 0. (If this value doesn’t exist, create it; it should be of type DWORD.)
- Restart the Electronic Team FlexiHub service through services.msc or reboot the computer.
- Log into your FlexiHub account.
Cannot connect, the “HTTPS connection” error is displayed.
Please check if you are able to open the following address in a web browser:
Then, please accept a certificate warning and proceed. The “Welcome to Flexihub” web-page should be open as a result.
If not, please check with your ISP to see if they might be blocking one of these ports on their end.
If the “Welcome to FlexiHub” web-page opens, but the “HTTPS connection” error is still displayed in FlexiHub GUI, please collect the logs (File → Save internal logs) and email them to us at support@flexihub.com.
I share Samsung device in FlexiHub but it’s not detected on the remote side.
There is a peculiarity with Samsung devices work. Some Samsung phones can’t be shared programmatically.
To resolve the issue, try to unplug the device from the USB port on the server computer, wait a few seconds (2-4 secs) and plug it into the same USB port once again. Try doing this a few times. If the device still doesn’t appear, please contact our support team via support@flexihub.com
